MGM has issued an early retail announcement for a mid-May Blu-ray release of the political drama 'Lions for Lambs.'
Despite the star wattage of Tom Cruise, Meryl Streep, and actor/director Robert Redford, 'Lions for Lambs' failed to make a dent at the box office, and quickly disappeared from theaters.
MGM (via Fox Home Entertainment) will issue the Blu-ray on May 19, about a year following the standard DVD.
Tech specs will include a 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 transfer and DTS-HD Lossless Master Audio 5.1 Surround.
No word on extras yet, but a package similar to the DVD appears likely. We'll keep you posted.
You'll find the latest specs for 'Lions for Lambs' linked from our Blu-ray Release Schedule, where they are indexed under May 19.
