In an early retail alert, MGM says it is planning to bring the Martin Scorsese modern classic 'Raging Bull' to Blu-ray this February.
Featuring an Oscar-winning performance by Robert DeNiro, the 1979 boxing drama will make its much-anticipated Blu-ray debut on February 10. (MGM previously released a special edition DVD in 2003).
Bonus features include three audio commentaries with cast & crew, four featurettes ("Before the Fight," "Inside the Ring," "Outside the Ring," "After the Fight"), "The Bronx Bull" documentary and additional vignettes ("DeNiro vs. LaMotta," "LaMotta Defends Title").
Tech specs will feature a BD-50 dual-layer presentation with 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video, English DTS-HD Lossless Master Audio 5.1 Surround, and optional French and Spanish Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround dubs and subtitles.
Suggested retail price for the Blu-ray has been set at $34.95.
