Comic book fans, mark your calendars: Lionsgate will bring a double dose of 'Iron Man' and 'Next Avengers' to Blu-ray this September.
Starring the red-hot Iron Man in his first animated movie, 'The Invincible Iron Man' will join 'Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow' in getting a Blu-ray debut on September 2. (Lionsgate previously released 'Iron Man' on standard DVD earlier this year, while 'Next Avengers' will premiere day-and-date.)
Extras on 'Iron Man' include the "Origin" featurette, an alternate opening, two still galleries (with conceptual art and "Iron Man Armor"), and a sneak peek at other upcoming Marvel animated direct-to-video films.
'Next Avengers' will boast a pair of featurettes ("Legacy: The Making of Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow," "Kid Power: Next Gen Marvel") and Marvel previews.
There are no tech specs yet for either title, but as always, we'll keep you posted.
Suggested retail price has been set at $29.99 each.
