An ex-con will become an unlikely role model in this drama heading to Blu-ray in June. You can pre-order it now.
In an early announcement to retailers, Lionsgate is bringing 'Joe' to Blu-ray on June 17.
Nicolas Cage delivers an intensely powerful performance as Joe, an ex-con with a hair-trigger temper who is trying to stay out of trouble, making an honest yet meager life for himself, and the unlikeliest of role models. But when he meets a troubled 15-year old homeless boy (Sheridan) in need of help from a violent and destitute father, Joe is faced with the heart-breaking choice of redemption or ruin.
The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD MA 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements will include: "The Making of Joe" featurette; "The Long Gravel Drive: The Origins of Joe" featurette; Deleted Scenes; and Audio commentary with director David Gordon Green, composer David Wingo and actor Brian D. Mays.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray/UltraViolet combo pack is $24.99.
