Shine up your surfboards, Lionsgate has announced a June Blu-ray debut for the extreme surfing documentary 'Step Into Liquid.'
From the makers of 'Endless Summer,' 2003's 'Step Into Liquid' documents a group of extreme surfers and their secret spots from around the world. Featuring breathtaking photography (including a sequence with Mike Parsons surfing a record-breaking 66-foot wave), Lionsgate will debut 'Step Into Liquid' on Blu-ray on June 24.
Extras will mirror the DVD version released in 2004, including an audio commentary with the filmmakers, multiple making-of featurettes, outtakes, and a surf lesson instructional.
Exclusive to the Blu-ray will be a picture-in-picture track featuring video interviews and behind-the-scenes footage (Profile 1.1-enabled playback required).
Tech specs include 1080p video and uncompressed PCM 7.1 Surround audio.
Finally, Lionsgate has revealed the set's high-res box art:
Suggested retail price for the Blu-ray has been set at $39.98.
