Consumer electronics company LG announced plans to sell their 15” OLED TVs as early as this November in Korea.
The largest OLED released by any company thus far, LG will be showing the display at Berlin’s IFA and selling it just a month after.
Pricing has not yet been announced for the sure to be in demand OLEDs, and estimates range greatly. LG’s new displays will be offered solely in Korea initially, moving to a broader overseas market starting next year.
An unnamed LG executive also stated that the company will be unveiling a 40” model in the “not too distant future.” If LG can get its OLED’s out at a consumer friendly price before the competition, it could mean big things for the company.
