The premium HD smartphone features new innovations in design.
LG has officially unveiled its new G2 smartphone. The mobile device marks a new direction in smartphone design by doing away with side buttons. Instead, the G2 features a Rear Key design that moves all buttons to the back of the phone. The device also comes equipped with a 5.2 inch full 1080p edge-to-edge IPS display.
The G2 runs on Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 and is fueled by a 2.26GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of ram, and a 3,000mAh battery. A rear 13MP camera (with Optical Image Stabilizer) and a front 2.1MP camera are also included, and the smartphone is capable of 4 bit/192kHz Hi-Fi playback for superior sound.
Both a 16GB and a 32GB model in black or white will be available across 130 wireless carriers within the next eight weeks but exact pricing has yet to be detailed.
