Both the frame dimmed HX750 and local dimmed HX850 will be available soon.
Sony has a trio of new TVs on the way to stores, but some are a bit more exciting than others. Available right now is the middle-of-the-road EX640, which gives you a 1080p resolution, a Wi-Fi adaptor so you can go online and access to the Sony Entertainment Network in 40", 46" and 55" screen sizes. Pretty standard stuff, but the exciting sets are on the way.
The HX850 is Sony's flagship and it looks quite impressive thanks to its monolithic, frameless design that features Corning Gorilla Glass. It's 3D capable, and offers up Dynamic Edge backlighting with local dimming as well as Motionflow XR 960 for absolutely ridiculous frame rates. You'll also find the X-Reality PRO Engine with 3D Super Resolution to help ensure that you get the most out of your set.
Also on the way is the Sony HX750, which gives you a slightly more limited feature set than the 850. You'll get frame dimming, Motionflow XR 480 and the X-Reality Engine with the PRO attachment.
