Nearly the entire line comes out this month, with only the UN55D6400 pushed back to May.
Samsung is an undisputed leader in LED backlit LCD sets and the new spring lineup is bound to keep that legacy secure. A total of 20 new models are now available, with a wide range of price and features.
One thing that's common throughout every one of Samsung's new TVs is Energy Star 5.1 compliance, which means your electric bill won't suffer with the addition of a new set. 70 percent of the sets offer Smart TV capabilities including access to streaming video, social networking and Samsung's new One-Foot network connection.
Samsung is introducing even more 3D televisions this year, including the D6400, D7000 and D8000 - all of which boast the proprietary 3D peak algorithm that adjusts brightness to compensate for 3D glasses while keeping power consumption low.
One caveat to the new 3D sets is that Samsung's 2011 3D glasses are only compatible with Samsung TVs from 2011.
