Last major work will be next week's Fulgore release.
Before Amazon bought up Double Helix, the developer revived the 'Killer Instinct' franchise for the Xbox One. Since the game's release, Double Helix has been producing additional characters for what has been described as the first season of content for the comparatively meager game. That first season will conclude with next week's April 9th release of Fulgore.
With Double Helix exiting for mysterious Amazon projects, Microsoft has signed up Iron Galaxy Studios to develop a new season of content. Iron Galaxy Studios previously developed the PS3 and 360 versions of 'Street Fighter III' and 'Darkstalkers Resurrection' among their other titles and was on the shortlist of possible developers when Microsoft first enlisted Double Helix for 'Killer Instinct' duty.
