Kickstarter game likely to polarize gamers with its top-down gameplay and a "skyless and desolate labyrinth-city."
According to Eurogamer, the developer of 'Radio the Universe' has credited "Symphony of the Night, Hotline Miami, Dark Souls and Yume Nikki as inspirations" for "one of the best Super Nintendo games that never was."
Of equal importance is the game's fundraising appeal with the current tally of $28,932 well beyond the game's initial $12,000 goal.
The game's trailer calls to mind the classic (legendary even) "Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past."
Naturally, the target platform is the PC, and the game's Kickstarter page promises, among other things, that "Players who die in-game die in real life."
