Hulu's agreement with Viacom means even more content for Hulu.
It wasn't long ago that Viacom pulled its programming from Hulu, most notably 'The Daily Show,' which generated huge numbers for the streaming service. Now Viacom is back, and with more content than ever.
In addition to the return of both 'The Daily Show' and 'The Colbert Report' to the free, ad-supported version of Hulu, Viacom is making several new shows available to Hulu Plus subscribers. Those shows include 'Tosh.0,' 'Manswers' and 'Jersey Shore.'
Not enough? Hulu Plus subscribers will get access to back episodes of 'Beavis and Butthead,' 'Reno 911,' 'Real World' and more.
Hulu is certainly hoping that the new content will result in a surge of subscribers, but based on recent leaks and rumors it seems that the future of the service is still up in the air.
