If you really want to get your OLED on, TVLogic is giving you the chance.
OLED displays have been “just a few years away” for a few years now and it’s beginning to get disheartening. It’s nice to see though, that there are a few companies still pumping out the TVs of the future. TVLogic’s got two of them, both of which measure fifteen inches diagonally.
The LEM-150W is an AMOLED set, with a resolution of 1366 x 768. It’s got a 16:9 resolution and a surprisingly wide array of inputs for such a small monitor. Since it’s made for professional use, it’s also got a built-in waveform/vector scope. It’s got a viewing angle of 180 degrees, though I can’t imagine more than one or two people gathered around a 15 inch screen.
TVLogic’s TDM-150W is interesting in that you’re not going to find much like it on the market. Like the LEM, it’s a 15 inch set with a 1366 x 768 resolution and a 100,000:1 contrast ratio. Unlike the LEM, the TDM is 3D capable.
There’s no pricing out yet for these two displays, but since they’re geared towards professionals, let’s just assume they’re prohibitively expensive.
