The critically-acclaimed tale of determination and hope is getting the Blu-ray treatment this September.
Image Entertainment is planning to release 'That Evening Sun' starring Hal Holbrook on the high-definition format on September 7.
'That Evening Sun' is based on a celebrated anthology of short stories from William Gay, “I Hate To See That Evening Sun Go Down,” a collection that has been compared to the works of William Faulkner. Fraught with passion and courage played out against life’s departing light, That Evening Sun is a portrait of a man who is not only intent on reclaiming his land, but his own life as well.
The Blu-ray will include 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements will include: Feature Anti-Commentary with Scott Teems, Rodney Taylor and Travis Sittard; "That Tennessee Sun..." The Making of "That Evening Sun"; The Art and Craft of "That Evening Sun"; cast interviews; crew interviews; and trailer.
