Newcomer Hannover House has announced their first Blu-ray release, bringing the controversial 'Hounddog' to high-def this March.
Following bad buzz and poor previews, the southern gothic 'Hounddog' unfortunately became labeled as the "Dakota Fanning rape movie," and suffered a brief theatrical run late last year.
Now Blu-ray fans can make up their own minds, with Hannover House setting a March 17 release for the drama (day-and-date with the standard DVD).
There are no tech specs available as of yet, and Hannover House has not announced any extras. We'll update this space as further details come to us.
Suggested retail price for the Blu-ray has been set at $24.99.
You'll find preliminary specs for 'Hounddog' linked from our Blu-ray Release Schedule, where it's indexed under March 17.
