In an exclusive online offer, Legendary Heroes says it plans to release the complete first season of 'Highlander' in a Blu-ray box set due this February.
The first-ever domestic high-def release of the cult TV series, 'Highlander: Season One,' the set is being distributed via the official Highlander website (www.legendaryheroes.com), although it would seem that the site's distribution rights to the series are limited to direct sales.
Beginning this week, Legendary Heroes has begun to take pre-orders for the 'Highlander: Season One' Blu-ray box set , with an "anticipated street date" of February 15.
Though full tech specs are still forthcoming, the collection will contain all 22 episodes of the show's first season presented in remastered 1080p video.
There are no other supplement details confirmed as of yet, though we expect a complete announcement in the coming weeks.
List price for the Blu-ray has been set at $39.95, and in a special limited time offer, the first 1000 pre-orders will receive a bonus "Duncan Katana Mini-Sword" collectible. (You can pre-order the Blu-ray directly via the link below.)
You'll find the latest specs for 'Highlander: Season One' linked from our Blu-ray Release Schedule, where it's indexed under February 15.
