After we posted video of the first DVD TV spot tagging HD DVD a few weeks back, several readers wrote in asking to see how the Blu-ray camp has been tagging their DVD TV spots.
As always, your wish is our command. Sony this week began running TV spots for the release of Adam Sandler's 'Click' on October 10th:
Like earlier Sony spots, the commercial ends with the tagline, "on DVD and Blu-ray," and includes box art of the disc in both formats. The disc's PSP release, by the way, is also tagged in a chyron at the bottom of the screen alongside DVD and Blu-ray.
Representatives from both next-gen DVD camps have committed to significant marketing efforts heading into the crucial fourth quarter holiday shopping season, so expect to see more where this came from over the next few months.
