They're almost certainly great looking TVs, but the option of a custom back panel leaves us scratching our heads.
Runco's not a name that's commonly associated with TVs. You think Runco and you think luxury projectors – unless you're confusing Runco with Ronco, in which case you think of rotisseries and flavor injectors being hocked on TV.
Runco's new plasmas boast solid glass fronts, which give them a fantastic aesthetic and an Emissive Cell Structure that creates a brighter picture with a wider viewing angle. They're 3D ready, they offer impressive black levels and they're nice and slim, at 1.7 inches.
The Vistage line is classy looking, even luxurious. That's why it's hard to figure out the customizable rear panel, which is anything but. Want a woodgrain panel attached to the back of your TV? How about a college sports team logo? You can do it. We just wouldn't recommend it.
