You'll be able to get your hands on it November 18th, a full week and a half before Japan.
Well there's something we don't see often – the US and European release dates for the Wii U are sooner than the one for Japan. Europe gets the system on November 30th and Japan gets it December 8th while American customers only have to wait until the 18th of November.
The system is priced at $299 for the base model – around what we've been expecting. What we weren't expecting was a premium version. The base model sports an 8GB drive while the $349 deluxe model gives you 32GB of internal memory.
The price of Game Pads has yet to be announced in the US, but pricing in Japan puts them around $157. We're guessing a $149 price point would be appropriate in the States.
