Fox has officially announced the holiday pair of 'Home Alone' and 'Jingle All the Way,' for December Blu-ray release, both of which will hit high-def with multiple bonus features.
Giving retailers an early alert last week, Fox set a December 2 street date for the Macaulay Culkin blockbuster and the Arnold Schwarzenegger family farce, though they stopped short on issuing any specifics.
Just-confirmed specs will see each release receive a BD-50 dual-layer presentation with 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video and English DTS-HD Lossless Master Audio 5.1 Surround audio.
Extras on 'Home Alone' will match the previous DVD, including audio commentary with director Chris Columbus and Culkin, multiple featurettes ("The Making of Home Alone," "Mac Cam: Behind the Scenes with Macaulay Culkin," "How to Burglar-Proof Your Home: The Stunts of Home Alone," "Home Alone Around The World," "Where's Buzz Now?", "Angels with Filthy Souls"), deleted scenes, alternate takes and a blooper reel.
'Jingle All the Way' will feature the extended version of the film, a trio of featurettes ("The Making of a Hero," "Super Kids," "Turbo Man Behind the Mask") and deleted scenes.
As previously announced, suggested retail price for each Blu-ray has been set at $34.95.
