In an early alert to retailers, Fox has set a late-September touchdown for the hit comic book adaptation 'Daredevil.'
Though not all critics and fans were kind to Ben Affleck in red tights, 'Daredevil' defied the skeptics, and eventually grossed over $100 million in the U.S. alone.
Giving the film it's first-ever next-gen release, Fox will bring 'Daredevil' to Blu-ray in its Director's Cut form on September 30.
Early tech specs include a BD-50 dual-layer presentation with 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video and DTS-HD Lossless Master Audio 5.1 Surround sound.
With the official media announcement still ahead, there's no confirmation of supplements as of yet. Stay tuned.
Suggested retail for the Blu-ray has been set at $39.95.
As we await final details, you'll find preliminary specs for 'Daredevil' linked from our Blu-ray Release Schedule, where it's indexed under September 30.
