Fox Home Entertainment has announced a late-June Blu-ray release for the John Cena crime thriller '12 Rounds.'
Dubbed '12 Rounds: Extreme Cut,' the Blu-ray will include both the original R-rated and unrated versions of the Renny Harlin heist flick, which sees Cena starring as a thief caught in a cat-and-mouse game against a rival criminal mastermind.
Fox will debut the barely-released flick on Blu-ray June 30, day-and-date with the standard DVD.
Tech specs will see a BD-50 dual-layer presentation with 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video (2.39:1) and DTS-HD Lossless Master Audio 5.1 Surround.
Extras shared with the DVD are minimal, including a sole "Crash Course: John Cena Stunts" featurette and gag reel.
Exclusive to the Blu-ray are additional featurettes ("Streetcar Crossing: Film with Caution," "12 Bonus Rounds: Making Magic Behind-the-Scenes," "Keeping Score: The Music of 12 Rounds," "Round and Round with Director Renny Harlin and John Cena"), viral videos, and BD-Live connectivity.
Suggested retail price for the Blu-ray has been set at $39.99.
