Gianfranco Mingozzi's 1974 cult film makes its Blu-ray debut in January.
In an early announcement to retailers, Scorpion Releasing is preparing 'Flavia the Heretic' for Blu-ray on January 26.
Flavia, a 15th Century nun, is witness to all manner of cruelty and barbarism directed against women by men. Disgusted with the masculine domination of society and the church, she unleashes a bloody revenge of her own by joining forces with Muslim invaders.
Specs and supplements have yet to be revealed, but the release will feature a brand new transfer struck from original 35mm film elements.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is still undetermined at this time.
