Base game, expansion, and multiple add-ons fill out the new package.
Today, 2K Games released 'XCOM: Enemy Unknown - The Complete Edition' in North America for the PC and Mac platforms. The package bundles together both 'XCOM: Enemy Unknown' and 'XCOM: Enemy Within' as well as multiple add-on packs such as the Elite Soldier Pack add-on content, Slingshot add-on content, and Second Wave add-on content.
From the High-Def Digest Review of 'XCOM: Enemy Unknown:'
"Firaxis, against all of its own set of odds, manages to balance all its interweaving systems with grace and individualized importance. Every researched item feels useful the moment you receive it and every call to your attention feels essential to success. It makes ignoring some calls in favor of others, or choosing an assault soldier over a heavy for a given mission, feel real and impactful. It turns a game into a mission. And it's a special mission indeed. "
From the High-Def Digest Review of 'XCOM: Enemy Within:'
"The bottom line is you'll never play 'XCOM: Enemy Unknown' for the first time ever again. It's okay that 'Enemy Within' doesn't give you that feeling. It doesn't recreate the dread we all felt in those first couple playthroughs. That's where ironman mode comes in. 'Enemy Within' is all about piling on the goods, throwing in some new ideas with Exalt and buffing up the sense of personalization and customization with your squaddies."
