Latest version includes a few notable enhancements.
The original PlayStation powerhouse 'Final Fantasy VII' is finally available on Steam for the PC. The game was the zenith of pre-rendered cutscenes back in 1997, and is a series favorite for many fans.
A hard-copy version was released for Windows way back in 1998 and last year Square released an updated digital version for the PC. This new version is meant to be friendly with current PC architecture, but also contains a few new features. In addition to achievements, the game offers "character boosters" to help players to survive the old-school difficulty curve. As this version arrives on Steam, players can enjoy the cloud saving system (no pun intended), that once enabled will allow players to retrieve their save files remotely.
The steam version 'Final Fantasy VII' is available for $12.
