'Fable III' for the Xbox 360 normally priced at $20.
The latest installment of 'Fable,' not counting the Kinect powered 'Fable: The Journey,' is currently free for Xbox Gold members. Those interested can go to the game's listing at Xbox.com. Although the listing states $19.99, by clicking "Use Microsoft Points," Xbox Live Gold members should find the points price as free.
Why the game is free is likely because of some combination of the beginning of E3, the promotion of the upcoming remake of the original Xbox1 'Fable,' and even possibly Sony's PS Plus additions. The PS Plus service is adding several titles, including 'Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception,' 'XCOM: Enemy Unknown,' 'LittleBigPlanet Karting,' and 'Machinarium.'
'Fable III' is not considered the strongest installment of the series. At the least, the 2010 game should provide a nice contrast to remake of the first title once it is re-released.
