Bleszinski was the man behind 'Gears of War' and was involved in the creation of 'Unreal Tournament' and more.
It's been a big couple of months for gave industry veterans. In August, Epic Games director Rod Fergusson left Epic, in September, the BioWare doctors announced that they were retiring and now Cliffy B has announced that he's leaving Epic to "chart the next stage of his career."
"I’ve been doing this since I was a teenager," says Bleszinski, "and outside of my sabbatical last year, I have been going non-stop. I literally grew up in this business, as Mike likes to say. And now that I’m grown up, it’s time for a much needed break."
Bleszinski, more affectionately known as Cliffy B. didn't give a hint at what that position will be, but it doesn't seem like he has any plans to leave gaming behind.
