Both the company and 'Twisted Metal' creator Jaffe are reportedly moving to casual and mobile games.
The Salt Lake City Tribune reported yesterday that Eat Sleep Play, the game developer started by Scott Campbell, Gene Martin and David Jaffee back in 2007, has laid off eight employees and made a shift in direction. The company will now be transitioning to casual, mobile games.
"It’s a platform that is in our pockets almost 24/7," says company co-founder Scott Campbell. "You can certainly reach a lot more people. That’s pretty exciting for us."
Campbell also revealed that David Jaffe - the man behind 'Twisted Metal' - is going to be leaving the company do to the same. "He’s got some projects that he’s excited about," says Campbell, "so we’re kind of going down two separate paths."
