Check out this new fan edit of the Solo trailer cut to "Sabotage" by the Beastie Boys.
Hoping to liven up the official teaser released earlier this month, editor Chris Galegar has decided to put his own spin on the trailer for Solo: A Star Wars Story with a fun remix that just might be better than Disney's take.
As Galegar explains in a post on War Starts at Midnight, he couldn't help but notice the similarities between Han Solo's character arc hinted at in the official teaser and the portrayal of James T. Kirk in J.J. Abrams' Star Trek. With that in mind, Galegar decided to inject some welcomed excitement into the teaser by re-cutting it to one of Kirk's favorite pieces of "classical" music, "Sabotage" by the Beastie Boys.

Solo: A Star Wars Story is set to hit theaters on May 25, 2018. Here's an official synopsis per Disney: Board the Millennium Falcon and journey to a galaxy far, far away in Solo: A Star Wars Story, an all-new adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy. Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo meets his mighty future copilot Chewbacca and encounters the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga’s most unlikely heroes.
Though initially directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller (The Lego Movie), the studio replaced the filmmaking pair with Ron Howard following creative differences during the shoot. Howard then reshot portions of the movie and finished the production based on a script by writers Jon Kasdan & Lawrence Kasdan. The movie stars Alden Ehrenreich as a younger version of the iconic smuggler first made famous by Harrison Ford in the original trilogy. Additional cast members include Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian, Joonas Suotamo as Chewbacca, Emilia Clarke, Thandie Newton, Woody Harrelson, and Paul Bettany.
Beyond Solo: A Star Wars Movie, Disney is set to release Star Wars: Episode IX on December 20, 2019. The final entry in the trilogy will be directed by J.J. Abrams.
