Pixar fans can look forward to 'A Bug's Life' on Blu-ray this Spring, with the animation studio confirming plans for a high-def release in the first half of next year.
As first reported by the (unofficial) site The Pixar Blog, the all-CGI blockbuster (and Pixar's second big-screen feature) is currently being prepped for a domestic Blu-ray debut in 2009, with tentative plans for an April release window.
At press time, Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has not confirmed an exact street date for 'A Bug's Life' on Blu-ray, but we've received word that the title is currently being planned, and an official announcement is expected early next year. As always, we'll keep you updated as further news comes in.
In the meantime, we've added 'A Bug's Life' to the "Release Dates Pending" section of our Blu-ray Release Schedule. Stay tuned!
