Ahoy, mateys! The trilogy-capping 'Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End' is sailing to Blu-ray this Christmas in a two-disc set brimming with high-def booty.
Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has announced a December 4 arrival for 'At World's End,' the third (and final?) chapter in the blockbuster 'Pirates of the Caribbean' saga.
As with the previous Blu-ray releases of 'Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl' and 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest,' 'At World's End' will hit high-def as a two-disc set, loaded with treasure.
Among the goodies is a five-part making-of documentary, nine additional featurettes, an outtake reel and the film's theatrical trailer -- all in full 1080 high-definition video.
The disc will also be BD-Java-enhanced, and is set to boast two exclusive interactive features, "Jolly Roger Host" and "Enter the Maelstrom," which allows viewers to cruise around the climactic battle scene interactively.
Tech specs include a 1080p transfer, plus uncompressed PCM 5.1 surround audio (at 48kHz/24-bit/6.9mbps).
Retail price for the set will be $34.95.
We've added 'At World's End' to our Blu-ray Release Schedule under December 4, where you'll find a link to our disc details page with specs for this highly anticipated holiday title. We'll have final details and box cover art for you in the days ahead. Stay tuned, pirates!
