At last confirming one of their most sought-after catalog titles, Disney has set a September debut for Quentin Tarantino's 'Kill Bill.'
Disney/Miramax will bow 'Kill Bill: Volume One' and 'Kill Bill: Volume Two' concurrently on September 9, marking the film's first-ever domestic debut on high-def.
Given the early lead time of the announcement, there are no tech specs or supplement details released as of yet. We also have yet to receive word from Disney whether the films will be presented in their R-rated theatrical or uncut versions, or whether a two-pack bundle will be made available. Needless to say, we'll keep you posted.
Suggested retail for each volume has been set at $34.95 a pop.
You'll find preliminary specs for 'Kill Bill: Volume One' and 'Kill Bill: Volume Two' linked from our Blu-ray Release Schedule, where they're indexed under September 9.
