Walt Disney Home Entertainment has announced it will debut the Denzel Washington hit 'Remember the Titans' on Blu-ray this coming September 4.
Full specs are not yet available for the $100 million-plus grossing smash, although Disney has said it will deliver its usual 1080p transfer and uncompressed PCM 5.1 surround track for 'Titans.'
Among the extras are multiple making-of featurettes and deleted scenes, plus more to be announced when the full press release for 'Titans' is unveiled in the coming days.
This Blu-ray edition is also expected to include the 133-minute "Director's Cut' version of the film, which first saw release on standard-def DVD in October pf 2006.
Retail price is set at a $34.95 MSRP.
'Remember the Titans' joins an ever-growing number of other similar-themed inspirational sports dramas that have already debuted on Blu-ray from Disney, including 'Invincible,' 'Glory Road' and 'Goal! The Dream Begins.'
We've added a new listing for 'Remember the Titans' to our Blu-ray Release Schedule, under September 4. Stay tuned for full details and box art in the coming days.
