The most expensive Taiwanese production to date arrives on Blu-ray stateside this August.
In an early announcement to retailers, Well Go USA has dated 'Warriors of the Rainbow: Seediq Bale' for Blu-ray on August 7.
The historical drama documents the true story of Taiwan's aboriginals who revolted against the Japanese colonies in the 1930s.
The film was also nominated for the Golden Lion award at the Venice Film Festival as well as six Asian Film Awards including Best Director (Te-Sheng Wei) and Best Film.
Specs and supplements have yet to be revealed, but suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $32.98.
