Three classic adventures will saddle up Blu-ray in March.
In an early announcement to retailers, Warner Brothers is working on John Sturges' 'Gunfight at the O.K. Corral' for Blu-ray on March 11.
Frontier lawm an Wyatt Earp (Burt Lancaster) joins his three brothers in their feud against the villainous Clanton clan, a local gang of cattle thieves in Tombstone, Arizona. When Earp defends the sickly gambler John "Doc" Holliday (Kirk Douglas) and puts a stop to the Clanton's lawlessness, the ruthless outlaws seek revenge and murder one of Earp's brothers, leading the men into the most infamous showdown in Wild West history.
The studio will also release Howard Hawks' 'El Dorado' on Blu-ray.
Robert Mitchum is a gutsy sheriff who battles the dark side of the Wild West: ruthless cattle barons and crooked businessmen. John Wayne plays the sheriff's old friend, a man who knows his way around a gunfight. The film features a supporting cast that includes James Caan, Charlene Holt, Paul Fix, Ed Asner and Christopher George, and is filled with both brawling action and unexpected humor.
Finally, Hawks' 'Hatari!' on Blu-ray on the same date.
'Adventure, camaraderie, love and laughs combine against the breathtaking vistas of Africa in this 1962 John Wayne treat as an American game catcher and a photographer who strikes a deal to travel with his trapping crew.'
Specs and supplements have yet to be revealed, but suggested list price for each Blu-ray is $19.98.
