The first season of the hit CW series featuring DC Comics' Emerald Archer will target Blu-ray this September.
In an early announcement to retailers, Warner Brothers says 'Arrow: The Complete First Season' is coming to high-definition on September 17.
Based on the DC Comics "Green Arrow" superhero comic book series, 'Arrow' has been reinvented for a modern day audience. After being marooned for five years on a remote island, billionaire Oliver Queen (Amell) returns home with a mysterious agenda and a lethal set of new skills that he uses in a war on crime in this hard-hitting action series. After suffering unimaginable ordeals on the island, Queen comes to Starling City a new man, determined to right the wrongs of his father and sworn to bring justice to those who've corrupted his city. But Oliver finds his crusade complicated by friends and family, all of whom are affected by his return.
The release will be a Blu-ray/DVD/UV Digital Copy combo pack with 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements will include: Arrow Comes Alive! - This all-inclusive documentary will give viewers a backstage ticket into the hit television series and the rich legacy of one of comic's most exciting characters, led by executive producers Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, and Andrew Kreisberg; Arrow: Fight School/Stunt School - From expertly choreographed fights, to stunts that give feature films a run for their money; Arrow takes aim to present the best that television can offer. Experience the extraordinary effort that goes into each stunt sequence; 2013 Paley Festival Q&A - Highlights from the Arrow panel with the cast and producers; Deleted Scenes; and a Gag Reel.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $69.97.
