As previously reported, the first season of 'Battlestar Galactica' will make the jump to Blu-ray in January.
Universal is readying 'Battlestar Galactica: Season 1' for a standalone Blu-ray release on January 5.
The 4-disc Blu-ray set includes all thirteen episodes and the four-hour miniseries with 1080p video and a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack.
Supplement details are in and they appear to mirror the content found in the 'Battlestar Galactica: The Complete Series' box set which includes: deleted scenes, nine episode commentaries, commentaries for both parts of the miniseries, behind-the-scenes featurettes, and a sketches and art gallery.
Exclusives for the Blu-ray release include: U-Control-The Oracle, U-Control-Picture in Picture for the Miniseries (Parts 1&2), My Scenes, Are You a Cylon - Personality Quiz, and BD-Live.
