Wong Kar Wai's epic historical action film heads to Blu-ray in March, and you can pre-order it now.
As previously reported, Starz/Anchor Bay is preparing 'The Grandmaster' for Blu-ray. Though originally announced for November 26, the disc will now be released on March 4.
From acclaimed director/writer Wong Kar Wai comes an epic tale inspired by the life of the warrior hero who taught Bruce Lee. Asian superstar Tony Leung ('In the Mood for Love') portrays legendary Kung Fu master Ip Man, who survived the turmoil of 1930s China to change the world of martial arts forever. Ziyi Zhang ('Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon') and Chang Chen ('Red Cliff') co-star in this visually stunning saga of love, honor and vengeance, featuring breathtaking action choreography by Yuen Wo Ping ('The Matrix,' 'Kill Bill').
The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video and a Mandarin DTS-HD MA 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements will include: The Grandmaster: From Ip Man to Bruce Lee, A Conversation with Shannon Lee, Daughter of Bruce Lee, Behind the Scenes Featurette, and The Grandmaster According to RZA.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $29.99.
