The 2011 Academy Award-nominee for Best Foreign Language Film is coming to high-definition stateside in September.
In an early announcement to retailers, Sony says 'Incendies' is in the works for Blu-ray on September 13.
The movie has been available on Blu-ray in Canada since March of 2011.
The French Canadian film about twins who travel to the Middle East to discover their family history and fulfill their mother's last wishes cleaned house at the Genie Awards winning eight including Best Cinematography, Best Editing, Best Overall Sound, Best Sound Editing, Best Actress (Lubna Azabal), Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Direction (Denis Villeneuve), and Best Picture.
The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements include commentary with director Denis Villeneuve and Remembering the Ashes: Incendies Through Their Eyes.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is set at $45.99.
