The 1970 film directed by Paul Newman will make its Blu-ray debut in December.
In an early announcement to retailers, Shout Factory will be releasing 'Sometimes a Great Notion' on Blu-ray on December 18.
The drama about a family of fiercely-independent Oregon loggers struggling to keep the family business alive amidst changing times was nominated for two Oscars including Best Music/Original Song (for the song "All His Children") and Best Supporting Actor (Richard Jaeckel).
Specs and supplements haven't been revealed yet, but the suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $19.97.
