The 1970 cult horror seducing Blu-ray in a few months has been dated and detailed.
As previously reported, Scream Factory is working on 'The Vampire Lovers' for Blu-ray in 2013, and now the date looks to be April 30.
Buxom vamps and bloodthirsty beauties abound in this horror thriller showcasing the netherworld's most voluptuous vampire! Traveling the countryside searching for victims, Carmilla quenches her thirst for blood with the best-looking maidens she can find. But when she unleashes a murderous sexual massacre on a small town, the local gentry fights back...plotting to drive a stake through the heart of this sexy, savage killer.
The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio soundtrack, and supplements will include: Feature Length Commentary with Roy Ward Baker (Director), Tudor Gates (Writer) and Ingrid Pitt (Carmilla) moderated by Jonathan Sothcott; Excerpts from the novella Carmilla, that inspired the film, read by Ingrid Pitt; Original Theatrical Trailer; New Interview with Madeline Smith (Emma); New Interviews with Hammer Films Scholars; and Original Radio Spot.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $19.97.
