Get ready to boldly go where no man has gone before on Blu-ray in September.
In an early announcement to retailers, Paramount is preparing 'Star Trek: Stardate Collection' for Blu-ray on September 10.
The 12-disc box set will combine the previously released 'Star Trek: Original Motion Picture Collection' and the 'Star Trek: The Next Generation Motion Picture Collection' into one comprehensive package.
Starring William Shatner, Leonard Nemoy, DeForest Kelley, Patrick Stewart, Jonathan Frakes, and Brent Spiner, this release contains all ten original 'Star Trek' films spanning 1979 - 2002, including: 'Star Trek: The Motion Picture,' 'Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan,' 'Star Trek III: The Search for Spock,' 'Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home,' 'Star Trek V: The Final Frontier,' 'Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country,' 'Star Trek: Generations,' 'Star Trek: First Contact,' 'Star Trek: Insurrection,' and 'Star Trek: Nemesis.'
The Blu-rays will feature 1080p video and Dolby TrueHD 5.1 or 7.1 soundtracks, and supplements will mirror those found on the currently available releases, including: Commentaries; Deleted Scenes; Featurettes; two bonus discs: "Star Trek Summit" and "Star Trek Evolutions"; and more.
