The secrets of Martin Scorsese's supernatural thriller will be revealed in high-definition this June.
In an early announcement to retailers, Paramount has just given word that 'Shutter Island' starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Ruffalo, and Ben Kingsley is coming to Blu-ray on June 8.
The film is based on the novel by Dennis Lehane and raked in a modest $125 million at the box office.
The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and the supplements will be exclusive to the format and will include: Behind the Shutters—Follows the film from its inception as an acclaimed novel through the production process and to the big screen. Includes interviews with cast and crew, and Into the Lighthouse—Discusses the historical landscape of psychiatric therapies during the 1950s through interviews with cast and crew.
