The classic science fiction film is finally getting a stateside release this November!
In another announcement to retailers, Lionsgate says 'Highlander' is getting the high-definition treatment on November 2.
The film was previously released on Blu-ray in the UK as a steelbook and stars Christopher Lambert and Sean Connery as immortals vying for the ultimate "prize."
This release will be the director's cut and will include an audio commentary with director Russell Mulcahy and producers Peter S. Davis and William N. Panzer.
On the same date, Lionsgate will also release 'Highlander 2' on the format with "enhanced and re-imagined visual effects," four featurettes, alternate ending, Cannes Film Festival promotion reel, and original theatrical trailer.
Suggested list price for each Blu-ray is $19.99.
