Another anime classic from legendary filmmaker Hayao Miyazaki will be getting the high-definition treatment in March.
In an early announcement to retailers, Disney/Buena Vista is working on 'Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind' starring the voices of Patrick Stewart, Uma Thurman, and Edward James Olmos for a Blu-ray release on March 8.
Miyazaki's 'Ponyo' has already been released (and reviewed by Joshua Zyber) on Blu-ray.
Specs have yet to be detailed, but the release will be a Blu-ray/DVD combo pack and supplements will include: Storyboards, The World of Ghibli, Creating Nausicaa, Enter the Lands, and Studio Ghibli Trivia Challenge.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $39.99.
