It's official -- Disney's beloved 1992 animated classic will have a high-definition release in the fourth quarter of 2010!
Disney/Buena Vista has just announced 'Beauty and the Beast (Diamond Edition)' for Blu-ray on October 5, with a standard-definition release on November 23.
The release will be a Blu-ray/DVD combo pack with 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 soundtrack, and although supplements haven't been revealed yet, Disney promises hours of behind-the-scenes featurettes, deleted scenes, enhanced music tracks, immersive games, and much more!
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray has been set at $39.99.
