The second and third seasons of the epic sci-fi series are planned for Blu-ray release in April.
Davis-Panzer has announced the tentative dates for 'Highlander: The Series - Season Two' and 'Highlander: The Series - Season Three' on Blu-ray will be April 30.
Each 5-disc box set will present the season with 1080p video (likely upscaled from 720p), and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtracks.
The second season will include: Picture-in-picture commentaries by Adrian Paul for two episodes, "Back for Seconds": a 30-minute documentary on the making of the show, focusing on the episodes and including never-before-seen interviews with Elizabeth Gracen, Jim Byrnes, Stan Kirsch, Bill Panzer and David Abramowitz, and a photo montage.
Picture-in-picture commentaries by various cast and production team members for eight episodes, "Third Time's a Charm": A 30-minute documentary on the making of the show, focusing on the episodes, including interviews with the production team as well as Jim Byrnes, Elizabeth Gracen, Peter Wingfield, Stan Kirsch and Adrian Paul, and a photo montage.
The price for each Blu-ray set is $39.95 and consumers can currently pre-order the sets here.
