The latest Hopper update adds several new options.
Dish has announced the arrival of a software upgrade for its Hopper DVRs. The latest version includes three new features that simplify the TV watching experience.
First up, is a new "watch from the beginning" option. With this feature, users can now check to see if live content is available on-demand, letting viewers choose to watch content from the beginning if they tune in after the live program has started. Next, is a binge-watching feature that displays a pop-up after you finish watching a recorded or on demand series with options to watch up to four subsequent episodes when available. Finally, the update also includes a simplified single button interface for toggling closed captions on and off.
The updated Hopper DVR software is now available to Dish customers.
