Criterion has set a late-June Blu-ray berth for the Alain Resnais classic 'Last Year at Marienbad.'
Winner of the 1961 Oscar for Best Original Screenplay as well as numerous other accolades, Resnais' tale of forgotten romance will make its Blu-ray debut on June 23, day-and-date with a new standard DVD re-issue.
Tech specs feature a BD-50 dual-layer presentation with remastered 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video (2.35:1) and a restored French PCM 1.0 Mono soundtrack.
Among the bonus features is a new audio interview with Resnais, the "Making of Last Year at Marienbad," two additional vintage featurettes ("Toute la mémoire du monde" [1956], "Le chant du styrène" [1958]), a video interview with film scholar Ginette Vincendeau, a collectible booklet, and the theatrical trailer.
Suggested retail price for the Blu-ray has been set at $39.95.
