The epic sci-fi/wild west showdown is coming to Blu-ray in extended form this December.
In an early announcement to retailers, Universal Studios says 'Cowboys and Aliens' will have a Blu-ray release on December 6.
Director Jon Favreau's big budget adaptation of the graphic novel by Scott Mitchell Rosenberg stars Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford, and the lovely Olivia Wilde, will feature the extended cut of the film with seventeen additional minutes of footage.
The Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements include Igniting the Sky: The Making of Cowboys and Aliens; Finding the Story; The Scope of the Spectacle; and Outer-space Icon.
Blu-ray exclusives include: Audio Commentary with Director Jon Favreau; A Call to Action; Absolution; Conversations with Jon Favreau; Universal's Second Screen; BD-Live; and pocketBlu.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $34.98.
